Specific help on ejector pin marks KGV

Post by Themongoose »

So a couple of you guys have built the Tamiya KGV and you other swabbies have probably seen something similar. Could you share how you dealt with these ejector pin marks? The bottom ones will be covered completely by the pom poms(i think that's what this tub is). The top ones are really visible though. The square boxes on the laft and right are 9mm apart outside to outside for reference.

This is for the Tamiya 1/350 KGV. Ive glued in 0.005 styrene disks before but I just dont see how to sand them in this case. Thought there might be some better ideas out there. I may try taking a pattern from the pic and cutting it on my silhouette. Just thought of that while posting. Hopefully you guys have some ideas as well.
