Someone on the Rum Ration site posted this link covering the day-to-day ship movements, Actions and losses of the Royal Navy (+) during WW2.

One very useful feature is the "Google custom search" feature.

Very useful - but so far only complete up to March 1942)

I am aware of this site, and of some of the contributors who have compiled this information over many years.
It is a monumental task, I hope they get to finish it.
