brake kleen or brake fluid?

How do I remove acrylic camo from a ship? is it brake KLEEN spray or brake fluid?
or am I better off getting a can of floquil ELO.

I have used Spray Brake Cleaner on a few plastic kits without a problem. I tryied to clean a Tamiya Hull with the same brake cleaner and it softened the plastic to the point I had to replace the Hull.

I would test a piece of scrap or sprue before spraying the model to be sure.
