My local paper has carried a story about a Barrow-built submarine that may be raised soon. HMAS AE2 was scuttled of Turkey during WW1

Are reporters geographically challenged or just plain frigging stupid. The Bosporus connects the Sea of Marmara to the Black Sea not the Dardenelles
