Re: Okay guys
If they attachment tool on the site is giving you troubles, try uploading your pics to a separate file-hosting server, such as www.tinypic.com and posting the direct link to image in your post.

I put the photo on:
http://www.photobucket.com
When you get it loaded, there are three addresses under the photo. The bottom address is labeled IMG just like the one in the tool box on this site. If you just cut and paste everything in that IMG address onto this site, it will show up perfectly.
Good Luck,
Mark

In my photobucket.com album, I find that I have to upolad with the 15" screen / 800x800 option so that they meet the 800x800 or less requirement here on this forum.Mark McKinnis wrote:I put the photo on:

Re: Okay guys
I get the same thing, I had to adjust my pixel size down to the lowest setting but even then on one picture it was still to much with flash. I re-shot without flash which cut it to the size the forum said it would accept.
It's hard to get the details that way but I guess its the only way to post on the forum.
If I'm doing something wrong please let me know as well.

I open the photos with paint and adjust their size to 50%. Never had trouble uploading to MWS.

Re: Okay guys
Leave off the [img]and[/img] tags - the site should let you post the links to the pictures. It'll mean that readers will have to click on the links to see the pictures, but it's worth the larger size and detail.

Re: Okay guys
That is correct- as an attachment, the maximum file size is 150 KB, with max dimensions of 1200 x 1200 pix.aleccap wrote:Every time I try and place a photo onto this system I get -The file is too big, maximum allowed size is 150 KiB.
For a img placement, max size is 800 x 800.
This means all messages MUST contain text; you cannot just post a blank message.aleccap wrote: Your message contains too few characters.
