To comedy tv fans, Edson Stroll (left) is best known to comedy tv fans as appearing in the World War II comedy tv series McHALE'S NAVY as PT 73 gunner's mate Virgil Edwards.
To sci fi fans, Stroll is is best known for playing Walter Smith in the classic THE TWILIGHT ZONE episode "Eye of the Beholder" in which a hideous woman awaits the results of her eleventh surgery to look normal. He appeared with THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES co-star Donna Douglas.
Stroll also appeared in THE TWILIGHT ZONE "The Trade-Ins" in which an elderly couple are at a medical center to trade their bodies for younger bodies.
