Post by Killerbeans »

I hope this is the right place to ask: are there any 1/144 WWII era shios aside from the RoG Fletcher DD and Snowberry?

Assuming you don't want submarines, of which there are certainly a number of options in 1/144, then you have the following:

Yeah, that's a stumper, but a Benson/Gleaves or Kagero would be a good fit.

MRY-SFW offers some 1/144 kits, e.g.
Lütjens class destroyer

Stopped searching, because they have so much...

There are way too many 3d printed available from MRY-SFW.com Mr Yao's Super Fantastic World to list. I have several smaller combatants, both WW2 and modern. Then there is also Yacare Scale models I have their 1/1/144 S'aar 4 and it's beautiful. and Hellanic Ship Models, See modelwarships.com front page They are also available from all sorts of Ebay vendors, and yes, you can get Carriers and Battleships in that scale.

I'm working on the RoG 1/144 Fletcher, as a SF built square bridge, USS Hazelwood, with an assist from Model Monkey. I think a couple more destroyers would be a good fit, and 144th seems a good scale for DDs.
