And the prize for most misleading RN history book title...

Post by MichelB »

goes to...Mimi and Toutou's Big Adventure by Giles Foden.

So far a hilarious and highly recommended read!

It concerns of course the battle of Lake Tanganjika in 1915, and the struggle to get two motor launches across hundreds of miles of African jungle, led by the outrageously excentric skirt-wearing Geoffrey Spicer-Simson.

Is this a re-issue of Foden's earlier book "Mimi and Toutou Go Forth" or is it a new book?
