IJN ships with late war green camo - what were AA guns, metal decks, and small boats painted?

Hi everyone,

I've just about built up the Five Star Akitsu Maru and the Fujimi Kaiyo (with Five Star super detail set). Both ships have the late war green camo scheme.

Question I had was how should I paint the AA guns, metal decks (not the flight deck but the smaller decks and platforms), and small boats? My sense is that the AA guns likely remained their gray/metallic color and were not painted green.

I'm less clear on the decks like at the bow and stern for these boats that were metallic. I was thinking of keeping them gray mostly to break up the mass of green with this camo scheme, but have seen builders paint all vertical and horizontal surfaces green.

For the small boats, I was also leaning towards keeping them in their standard gray scheme.
