I'm taking something Tracy wrote and some specific rules that Tim wrote, and posting them as an announcement to keep it at the top of this forum. Please observe the following rules when posting on this section:

Since this is under History & Reference the terms PAINTS herein is meant to focus on the paints on the actual ships. While discussion of matching and mixing, etc., is encouraged, this is not the forum to ask about finish problems, weathering washes, or the like. We point you instead to the main forum or Tips & Tricks

DO NOT Post copyrighted material on this site.

No flamewars. Save that type of behavior for personal E mails.

If you quote a source over 500 words, you must cite the source (give full credit) to the originator. I doubt they would steal your work, so don't steal theirs.

So, what does this mean? It means if you don't agree with someone about the camouflage or color of a certain vessel, keep it civil. It means that if you want to share something, make sure it's not copyrighted material and that you have permission to share it here. Any posts that violate these rules will be edited or removed as needed, without warning.
