with wems new HMS Daring now available i thought id share some photos i took from a recent trip to portsmouth

When did you made them? There appears to be still USS Klakring in front of HMS Daring - as in May (see Daring and Klakring).

I hope that the 1/700 kit by WEM will be released soon...

I took the photos during navy day, I think it was may cant remember exact date .. But you were right it is Uss Klakring

Wow, they have three navigation radar. Funny to see one is on the starboardside corner of the hangar. Guess the two in front of the main mast have quite a blind angle for anything further than abeam! Guess that aft one is quite important in that respect. Strange position for a radar though.

Thought id add the rest of my portsmouth photos as it was a verry buisy day . 3 brit carriers and a us nuclear sub , apparently the first time one has been to Portsmouth ?
