Quick question for the group:
Has anyone worked any of the following WHITE ENSIGN PE KIT 'S:
Upper Superstructure Deck Plates Kit
Ultimate Photo Etch Set
Kriegsmarine Flak Mountings
How do they compare to the GMM or Tom's Model kits??
Thanks.

White Ensign Models WEM makes PE sets for many kits. It would be nice if you put the PE set number or at least the ship kit your looking to add PE to?
You asked, "How do they compare to the GMM or Tom's Model kits??"
My answer is, "the same or better, depends on which PE set." I find the railings brass is a little too soft for me. My big fat fingers always manages to crush WEMS railings no matter how gentle I try to be.
I have a hunch that your talking about either WEMS Bismark or Tirpitz set. If so, I can't comment on these. Haven't used them.

RE: WHITE ENSIGN PE KIT
You are correct!
I should have mentioned that the PE kits are for the Bismarck.

WEM PE
I suggest a decent pair of tweezers instead of fat fingers and thumbs will preserve your railings etc.
PE should never be touched by ones digits. Only by using scalpels and tweezers will you get an undamaged part suitable for fixing to your model.
Try it, I guarantee a better result.

I have found GMM and WEM comparable. Sometimes they will provide different things for the same kit, you just have to decided what is more important to you. So just take a look at what each company is providing and go from there.
