HMS Vulcan (in at the deep end with my first post)

Post by roy allen »

first,a big hello to every one :wave_1:

Im looking for pictures or simple plans of HMS Vulcan the torpedo boat tender, she was later converted to a submarine tender. Have found a few pics but these do not give the ships deck layout as they were taken at a low angle. can anybody help me please. Thanks

Welcome Roy. What scale are you building in. I used to live in Leek, many moons ago :thumbs_up_1:

Hi victorious :wave_1:
cellarhead is nearest,as to ship scales 1/700, 1/400, 1/350, 1/72 with the occasional 1/144 thrown in. Would love to do R/C but some how i think her in doors would kick off big style :mad_1: . Will have to wait until youngest is doing his own thing then we'll see. Biggest problem i have with scratch building is getting decent plans or photo's. If you're ever in the nieghbourhood i belong to an ever growing model club who meet every thursday at Endon you're welcome to visit.

There are plans available from lots of scorces, but it depends on what you are building. I don't ever get to Leek these days.
