Interesting Air Group! CV-3 resupplied the depleted CV Air Groups off Midway, then was intended to sail North to engage IJN units in the North Pacific/Aleutians. Wisely, this last mission was cancelled, and Sara. re-supplied TF-17, then returned to PH on 13 June 1942.
