For those that have used both, which of these is easier to brush paint over a primed undercoat? Does either one look better/worse than the other.
Thanks,

brush painting
Model Master Acrylic paint is the best paint for the brush. I thin mine with distilled water, depending on the pigment in the paint...I thin about 35 to 60 percent.

Weeelll...don't know if this will help, but my 2 cents...
First, acrylics thin best with alcohol/methylated spirits...water tends to be BAAAAD-Bad (at least in my experience and 2 friends). It just splatter and doesn't thin well.
I used to be a brush man, but am an AIRbrush man now. There's just no way a brush can ever give the beautiful scale-thin detail of air, no matter wishful-thinking and fantasies. You can get big compressors cheap now, and even a single-action airbrush will work wonders.
I have used WEM paints in tests, but never extensively in actual painting, tho I have heard brushing they can get thick and gluggy. The WEM I've used has all been enamel/thinner based.
Good luck!
