Measure 21 Paint

Post by 1st_combat_comm »

I have recently looked at a thread on the 1/350 USS Missouri measure 22 thread (below) where it discusses that WEM paints are the only one that make the authentic wwII colors. I noticed that WEM is still out of stock and I'm wondering what I can do? I'm working on the USS Laffy and a Liberty ship dio for a contest. What's close to the authentic colors?

Have you tried Washiphobbies.com? WEM's Colourcoat line is the centerpiece of their inventory and they have most of the tints in stock. You might also try MidTennhobbies.com. They also stock WEM's paints. Both companies are great to deal with. Fast shipping and first rate customer service.

Good luck,

Bob

Glad that helped! Always enjoy being able to help a fellow modeler out. Now, you must pay me back by posting some pictures of you work. LOL. Actually, no need to pay me back, I'm glad to be able to help. But, I'd still like to see some pics of what you are working on and I'm sure others here would as well.
