Scratchbuilding lifeboat davits
I am looking to try and scratchbuild some life boat davits for my USS Cairo Ironclad, 10mm scale, (little larger than 1/200). I was wondering what may be the best material for this?
Don't get saucy with me Bernaisse!

David,
duno how the davids should look like but try brass tin. It the tin is thin enough you can even cut it with a nail scissor. Bent it straight again if it does bent, use two layers of brass tin to make one (left &right), rasp it to the right fit, glue it with Nasa glue or solder it, epoxy filling, paint it and....finished, kinda.
