Power flex glue

Just purchased some super glue from Loctite called Power flex.I think this stuff might be a bit more forgiving when gluing PE parts.With normal standard ca glues they sometimes can be a bit too brittle and I know from past experiance iv knocked off a few pieces of PE by accident.

I shall try it out tonight as I have some rails to attatch to my Trumpeter Z-30 and ill let you know what its like.

I used this stuff to add my PE rails and its quite good.as its a gel like glue a small amount can travel along the rail and takes a little longer to stick so makes moving into position easier.

After it had dried I moved the rail back and forth and it never broke.

I havn't seen that product locally but that stuff must be similar to "Gorilla" brand super glue. The "Gorilla" says it has micro particles of rubber material in it, making it less brittle, and it's true. Thicker in consistancy and slower set time. I use it to attach PE in position, then use "gator glue", applied with a very fine brush along the bottom rail to firmly affix it. Gator glue is very tough and flexible, much like plastic, but water cleanup. Even the so called flexible CA adhesives become more brittle if used with an accelerator.
