I'm scratchbuilding a fictional ship that has four podded motors. The problem is that the design drawings (somebody else's) has the "mystery propulsion" (not listed) in two boxes side by side. Does anyone know if there are serious issues putting propellers side by side, about 1cm clearance?
My only other option is to put them side by side in kort nozzles if the first option has dynamic problems. The design doesn't give me much to work with. The pods are almost done, and I just have to work out the mounting arrangement. By the way, I CANNOT stagger them as on other conventional vessels. Thanks guys for your help and mulling over this question! - MT
