Hi fellas, I have a U-Boat painting question. I've seen several models of U-997 built with squiggly paint being applied to the lighter colors of upper hull and bridge area. Was U-997 really painted this way? I can find no documentation to prove this was so in any of my U-Boat related books/references. (I posted this question elsewhere, but perhaps in the wrong place.)
Thanks a bunch,
Kevin

Re: U-997 paint question
I think I was able to answer the question myself by searching multiple ship modeling forums. For whatever it's worth, U-997 probably did not have the squiggle camo applied.
