NEW SHORTER WAREHOUSE OPTION - 16 inches long instead of 32.

A 16 inch-long warehouse with the option of a 21 inch-long dock is now available on my eBay store.

Re: REDUCED PRICING: Back-Aft Models - 1/350 Warehouse & Doc

I assembled a whole warehouse, this weekend. I had never done that before, just a short version.

I think it's pretty cool. I just use this one for display / prototype purposes. I found a few flaws in my sequence of instructions and sequence of upper window assembly. It was worth the effort.

Does anyone know who "Guest" is / was?

I'd like to try and help with the Half Moon parts.

Something I've been trying to find out too. I heard there was a conversion kit for USS Half Moon, but cannot find, anywhere.

Step 10: The upper roof and lower roof sections are lengthened to match the desired length of the warehouse with use of tabs to connect their ends together.

Step 8: Attaching the support walls to the side walls. These are to spaced so as not to interfere with roof sections joints that are attached to each other with tabs similar to the lengthened side wall sections.

Step 9: Attach the window sections together to match the desired length of the warehouse. These are assembled similarly to the method of attaching the wall sections together with the use of special tabs. The window sections are then attached to the end wall and the support walls. These seams will be covered by water downspouts, as well.

Step 4: Attach the overhead doors to the walls. The door pieces can be trimmed to portray open or half-open doorways.

Step 5: Attach wall sections together to extend the length of the warehouse. The doors act as tabs to join the wall sections together. Special tabs are included with open doorways in case the doorway at the walls' attachment points are desired to be open doorways. The seams at the joint of the wall sections will be covered with water downspouts made from .020" styrene rod.

Assembling the 1/350 Warehouse.........

Step 1: Sanding the thin resin film from the back side of the walls to open up the windows. This must be done to the window sections and the overhead doors, as well.

Image

Image

Step 2: I recommend painting the wall and window sections and the doors before continuing with Step 3.

Step 3: Filling the windows with Micro Krystal Klear.
This requires placing clear packing tape on the back side of the wall and then filling the window panes with Krystal Klear. It will take at least two applications of the liquid. The same methods were taken with the window sections and the overhead doors.
