Re: Calling all HMS Southampton & Fiji (Town & Colony)class
Hello Darcy, did you go ahead with a 1945 HMS Belfast?
I have the 'Anatomy of the ship' for HMS Belfast, and there is a double page plan and elevation for 1945-1956 fit, details include the few minor changes from within that period. There is also a brief written description of all the refits throughout her career.
I've started on a conversion of the Trumpeter kit to HMS Belfast in Korean War service around 1950-1952, which she reportedly saw most of her wartime service. The conversion and weapons fit from this era is interesting and makes for a fulfilling build project. There's a good few photos from this time in service but the 'Anatomy of the ship' book is essential for this.
