A Chinese company, Takom, has a 1/350 scale Soviet destroyer Gremyashchiy in its 1942 configuration listed. If they actually release it a new soviet destroyer is always welcome.

OK, but I am a bit sad that they do not continue their line of modern destroyers after the German and Italian ones. Providers are mainly focused on WWII, but we are missing warships of the modern era.

A nicely filled gap, not much WW2 Soviet stuff available in plastic.

Good to see it's also being offered as the now preserved Anshan. I imagine that will be the moneymaker.

Randall W is painting an early CVN65 painting , which seems awfully similar to a box art...

I asked Randy, it's for a private commission, not a box art.

Not sure whether this has been caught before, but Magic Factory appears to be releasing a 1/350 Type 54B frigate in China's PLANCG colors

Nice but ... announcements are just blabla until the announcer delivers. Very Fire announced Hiei and Shinano at 1/350, Trumpeter announced Algérie, New Mexico, Royal Oak and now Scharnhorst ( not to speak about Baltimore or Nelson ) also at 1/350.
Seems to me a lot of announcements, but little delivered.
Maybe they are just trying to focus the attention of Santa Claus ...

Scharnhorst has been announced as an October release.

Difference being the Royal Oak is actually on Trumpeter's website with photos of the kit built-up, and stores are taking orders with a deliver date - something Algerie, New Mex, Baltimore, and Nelson never reached.
