Oops, my bad (depth perception). Personally, I create even spaced stanchions when I can, but i don't have any budget (well, sorta) and must make every cm of PE count.

Jim, interesting to hear of your care to get corner posts on your railings. I too try to do that- so imagine my surprise when in reseaching my KM Scharnhorst I run across some pics of her sistership that clearly show a railing where the rails form a corner, and THEN a foor or so away comes a post. Odd.

Hi all;
Great Job Jim!!!; these ships are incredibly well done!!!.
Im currently building the IHPs Guille and Lyon BC/BB. These subjects are great!!!; but my scratchbuilding abilities are very limited!.
Ive scratch the command tower from Guille, and boat davit structure of Lyon.
Hope you like!.
A french modeler told me on the "other forum", that it will be released a 1/700 with brass barrels and PE parts...; he didnt tell anything about the company, but seems IHP will NOT (Mike Bartel declined she!).
Truly a pitty!
Best regards

The new kit is on sale!! Me wants it! Me wants it!
The Yumemato kits are in the $75-$80 range at pacificfront.com.
I guess this one would be the same...
I have the Jaureguiberry in the stash and I really feel like starting. I especially like the full hull option: it is quite uncommon for resin kits. I just have to find a way to reshape the upper hull, which is quite twisted at the bow.
My Massena hasn`t been touched for months! Carnot is still in the bag. But I`ll order this one probably next week if I can slip the "appropriations bill" past the finance minister..or is it Chancellor of the Exchequer!

Bill over at Pacific Front announced today that we should shortly be seeing Jeanne d'Arc (the 6 funneled armored cruiser) from Combrig in 1/700 within the very near future.
