Great Paint Stripper
Found a great paint stripper. It works on Tamiya paints. It's called Chameleon Model Paint Stripper. Comes in a 16 oz bottle. Cost is somewhere around $12 - $13.

Timmy, stay away from the lacquer thinner!
There are a few more things out there that won't burn your brain (and skin) up. You would be better off with brake fluid. There's a cleaner that comes in a purple bottle that you can get at the automotive stores that works well. Can't remember the name of it now. Check it out.

i go to wally world where in the auto section they carry casterol purple clean, a contrate which will strip paint off plastic in no time. you can also recycle & use it over oand over . of course you need to filter it . i used to use grake fluid, oven cleaner etc. no more this stuuff does good.just let it soak , get a tpthbrush & off it comes. so far it has not done any damage to any plastic.

I use 95% alcohol. Works well for me.
