Best way to seal drywall putty

Hi,

I made my carrier hull with wood fram and covered it with balsa. I have cover all the surface with drywall putty, looks great but I would like to seal it before painting. Which kind of 'sealer' should I use, Future? Any good varnish?

Future and varnish are probably too thin. I'd recommend spraying with Kilz spray primer which should be available in any hardware store.

Covers with a pretty heavy coat, fills sanding marks well, drys flat, fairly quickly and can be sanded smooth.

I can not find Kilz here in Canada, I wonder if Muttpodge could do the job?

there is another product, a shelac spray primer called B-I-N by zinsser(home depot carries this brand). Pretty incredible stuff and shelac sticks to EVERYTHING, so watch your fingernails.... Local paint stores should carry one of the two brands.
