Weathering Submarines
I'm at the point with my Seawolf that it's time for weathering.
What are the different methods of weathering (I'm using Tamiya acrylics) and what are the correct colors to use? I've heard there are many different weathering techniques, airbrush, washes, drybrushing, etc. but I haven't a clue where to begin. Thanks in advance for any advice/direction.

Not long ago a fellow modeler (sorry, cant remember his name) posted some pictures of a submarine very nicely weathered. He said he painted it a very dark grey and then drybrushed (or washed?) black. Shame I do not have the time to search for it right now, but if you do, it was a very nice weathering he got.
I will miss you Werner. Fair winds and following seas.
