Hi,

just an update ... I finished the inlets for starboard and port turbines and commenced work on the starboard bilge keel. I build it from aluminum and slotted it for better fit to the hull lines. Pictures show a first dry fitting of the keel.

Hi again,

adding the bilge keel goes hand in hand with the installation of the cooling water inlet for the starboard turbine. As both assemblies are connected I am really anxious how everything will fit together in the end ... :heh:

Time for a cup of coffee ...

Bye.

I adjusted the seabox roughly to the hull shape. The trapezoidal openings in the shell emerged as expected. The bilge keel my biggest concern seems to fit well to the lower edge of the seabox ...

Bye now!
