Wow, its inspiring!
The photo etch work is amazing, especially how clean the railing is, and how you manage to bend them exactly to place.

thank you gents for your feedback!braxat I quote you "how you manage to bend them exactly to place". the nerves of replacement are planned for this ??
more seriously, the secret ,is to take time for the installation

Hi gents
After a flu and holidays ,work resumed on the main mast
in first ,the air surveillance radar typ 281

and the mast

the details are made ??of plastic stretched
all mounted temporarily

noted that the equipment and layout have changed throughout the career of Richelieu
mine is for the 52 year
just to give you an order of size

best regards

Hello
The continuation of the works on my Richelieu, at first, on my mast, I deleted the structure has the back of the mast (arrows black)

To add of supports with navigation lights (arrows red only for after1952)

I had left the wheelhouse has this stage

Loan has to make the windows with black decals!!! But on second thought, I redid everything with the plastic card

I find the result much better,I take advantage of to make a temporary assembly of everything the subsets which composes the front part of the castle

I also resumed "the organization" of the vertical walls (watertight doors, scuttles, metallic cupboards.......) which is made in a fanciful way by trumpy

I have also worked on the two blocks are which are represented by trumpy with rectangular shapes and with details which are false. I redid the oblique walls, and I added the new details, according to the plan of Robert Dumas

Other details are added on the fire chimney and has his base

The mobile trolleys for the motor boats are folded

The supports of whale boats are assembled, and se reinforcements gussets are added (in white)

In place

The heads of the charge masts are detailed with my resins parts, and ladders and handrails are added in PE

Bases and winches of cranes, the command desks, and are installed in a symmetric way

An overview

best regards
Nicolas

HI gents
Mabmanu,you is very prolific,great job
for starters, I indicated that there was a handrail on the top of load mast

what is wrong! it's just a elevated ladder ,What of profiles, gives the impression to see a handrail!
The good configuration

I always prepare my PE before, after having formed, bended, and assembled ,I pose my PE by sector on the strip of stcotch 3M.
They will be installed everything has the end

I also have finishes the turrets of 152,by the installation of the guns barrels, and of shutters on the roof of turrets

the turrets in "their natural element"

Veiled, that's it for now
best regards
