Hello all
thanks Jenshb :thumbs_up_1:
a small report on the progress
the gateways have been permanently installed, and on the navigation bridge for windows , I will use, portions of black decal
just above the bridge is a speaker installed beings (red arrows)

Image

Image

the railings and other details such as convoy lights (blue arrows) and the supports of the navigations lights (green arrow) are installed at this stage

Image

the area becomes "charged", it becomes hard to gluing parts, mainly with my "cocktail sausages", I inherited as fingers :-D
proof, pictures of what'll be the next stage of assembly ,you see the space is limited, and the dangers increased:

Image

Image

if not, for to advance the project , I needed to assemble the typical radar 285P and their supports in PE, engraved for me by my friend Bruno. I must say that I dreaded the assemble, finesse seen ,as the parts engraved by bruno, are "diabolical finesse"!
but well one hours I managed to get this

Image

one hours ,because we must to take it easy :-D , the result will have "look great" on rangefinders.
I still have work to do ..... but I stay of more motivated
for the time being the Richelieu sleeps here

Image

protected :-D
see you soon

Hello gents

a little update on the " drome d'embarcations" in French
in first on the rowboats motorized ,two stairs in PE are installed
Image
on the speedboats the handrails are installed
Image
the PE dedicated to rowboats motorized and speedboats does not exist, it was necessary that I "tinker",except for some details (windscreen, railing, ..)
a speedboat, temporarily equipped
Image
the details prepared before the paint
Image
a transmission shaft for the propeller is installed on each "boat" (red arrow)
Image
the first coats of paint ,"wood" for inside the rowboats motorized, grey for the easement speedboats, white for that of Commander
Image
then ,the overall paint ( hull blue for the commander speedboat)
Image
Image
masking for painting of the antifouling
Image
and the final result
Image
still some detail to paint, of black decals for windows
see you soon for the rest
best regards
nicolas

Yes Nicoles. Its all those small things that make up the picture and give so much detail to a model.

Nice going and watching with Interest. :wave_1:

Hello Gents

Smooth recovery after well-earned holiday
In first, finishing of rowboats motorized (installation of supports for the buoys, and steering wheels)

Image

On speedboats, I put portions of black decal to represent windows, after the matt varnish, I will put of kristal klear (remains to ask, the windscreens, railings, and the propellers)

Image

Like the taste come back, have "spice" the sauce!!
The propellers provided by Trumpy are false... Ultimately, good for a Russian submarine.....actually, not sure

Image

In a first time, rounding the blade roots (on the pointed portions)

Image

Cut the news trailing edges in of the plastic card

Image

Glued the extensions

Image

Sand the thickness and shapes (the grey blade has the "good" shape)

After finishing, the comparison between the two models

Image

And on the drive shafts

Image

I prefer the shapes of my propellers

Finally, after have realized that it needed to raise the height at four corners of the structure supporting the rowboats (chantier fixe in French)!!!

Image

I also redid the "catwalk" with of the grid (it was a "sheet" on my first version)

Image

Now, the height is good (red arrow)

Image

So, here's, the view of the mounted assembly temporarily

Image
Image
Image

Here, the return to "affairs" is done
See you soon

HI gents

Continued work on the positions of operating of the load masts, by the addition of railing

Image

I' am not crazy ,I not making a Celtic cross..!

Image

It is only the basis of the manufacture of pulleys with hooks that are under the masts

Image

Are fabricated, two triangular brackets for the heads of the load masts, a foghorn, and a whistle

Image

Image

The whole is assembled temporarily to see the eventual defects

Image

Image

the output of the T-shaped antennas is installed

Image

And that unsightly area, formed on the Barbette of the rangefinder is appeared!!

Image

To be make a reshaping this area. The new parts, thatll come "cover" the half of the barbette

Image

The new barbette installed

Image

Its better that way, right?

The rowboats and the speedboats and many details are definitely installed

Image

Image

Image

It becomes difficult to come glued the parts!!! This is starting to take shape

best regards
Nicolas
