Does anyone have an effective technique for attaching the tiny shields to the guns? The two I attached to HMS STARLING are a little crooked; I didn`t have the patience for attaching the shields to all 36 20mm guns aboard USS ALASKA.
Crazy glue can be so unforgiving!

Brush on a little accelerator (sp?) aka "zip kicker" onto one of the parts you are going to attach. Put a tiny drop of CA on the other part and touch them together - 90% of the time they'll hold fast with the CA touching the accelerator. Otherwise you'll be picking up sheilds all day. I used this techinque on the shields on my 1/700 USS Independence (CVL-22).Gone Asiatic wrote:Does anyone have an effective technique for attaching the tiny shields to the guns?
