Ive been eagerly waiting for an update Nicolas only to find that Photobucket has a problem, so no pictures.
Ill look forward to, hopefully, see them later.

HI gents

As in the day it is almost impossible to work in this heat, I work in the night at the "fresh"(we also have our heat wave)
Ant work continues by laying a lot of rangefinders, periscopes, tlpointeurs, and the list would make too long, it is not too obvious, but I see it coming because my little boxes are emptied

Image

Image

The 'windows' of gateway have been asked (black decals)

Image

The antennas output and the turret of tlpointage, were taken in black (except behind the turret)

Image

Image

I present small pieces from long enough, and for my sanity I need to know or Ill....... I assembly temporarily the small parts, that have been set aside for a long time
The hull and the small boxes

Image

All assembled (the turrets are still not good)

I find the majestic silhouette of Richelieu begins to take shape, and this little assembly gives me of heart balm for the next and final steps

best regards

HI gent's

This week, no major progress, but a additions of forgotten details or " placed aside." to start, I "disconnected" the upper part of the castle, and this allow me to work more easily, it was a great time ......
I made 3 supports , one large for a antenna for direction finding, and two smaller ones for the sidelights

Image

then two more on the front

Image

just to give you an idea of ??the size of the supports, I made with ??stretched and thin plastic card

Image

other details are prepared for painting phase

Image

the supports were bonded permanently, after paint

Image

I also prepared the plates of "devises" (currencies ???) ,before paint

Image

after paint

Image

my friend Bruno Gire he designed me and etched a new plank for the railings (with the weigth of cables)

Image

a real "jewel" of delicacy  I'll have fun,for the posed

best regards
Nicolas

Very nice Nicolas
Its comeing on just great and I know what you mean when you stop for a while, I to have compartments for all those little bits and spares also.
You are very lucky to have a person to make stuff for you, that helps alot.
I like tho to make things from scratch as you do, with the help of my spares box's,and I mean box's.
Like most who build ships/aircraft etc, there are always spare bits weather plastic/resin or PE, so its good to have them for those little mishapes

Very nice watching how you are doing this ship as I to have it in the stash to build one day.
Your work here will help me and others to maybe emulate your great build.

Regards Capt Pugwash.

gents

For the projectors, thinking they had been changed during its modernization in the USA in 43,all wrong, the French projectors remained, they is very different from the U.S. models
I begin by the 30cm ....... in the 350em we are in the order of 1 mm in diameter, but hey I managed to do that
The masters ready to be molded

the mounted projector (the small tail is used for manipulation)
