Ok,
I have now admired an absulte artist on work here last 15 pages, who makes an incredibly impressive work of which I'm still light years away to even begin almost become like him.
Most of all I learned that I put my own Richelieu for the first back in the shelf and give kit n 10 or more to start. All what here needs to be improved / or can be improved is too much for me as rooky and I have to learn much more first. Very impressed I'm from the deck painting here.

Hello Dear Nicolas! I am following your build with maximum interest - your work amazing as usual! I am finishing my 1940 Rischelieu (hope next week), I will send you photos when it will be done! Please tell me about nameplates (Patrie, Honneur) - which color you used for background? Was it black or dark-blue?
Regards,
Sergei

Hello Sergei
I use ,for the mottos plates, a Tamiya acrylic paint X3 "Bleu Royal " (royal blue)
I follow your superb Richelieu ,but ,I can no longer connect to me on the forum to congratulate you,and I'm here
I begin ,me too, a Richelieu on the 1940 version viewtopic.php?f=59&t=111876
do not hesitate if you see errors, you have well studied the subject
my Richelieu 52 version is a little blocked,I'm waiting for new railings!!!the model engraved by my friend is fake(I provided him a bad information
)
cheers

Hello gents
this is it!I am unblocked!! Santa filed this plank, with a little advance

both platforms are definitely glued

many details that waited patiently in their boxes, are finally glued .

even turrets of 100mm

the railings engraved by my friend, are very thin, and have a sagging effect very realistic!!!
to give me the "strength" to continue, and to see if I forgotten anything,a small provisional assembly.

the further work ,it'll continue on the stern
cheers

Hello gentlemens
after a few days of holidays (in the Kent)it's time to get back to work !! one mistake often made on richelieu ,is to install the "windows" on the "hut"

Indeed, the "shack" is a block ventilation,So, install a ventilation grids ,made ??of plastic card engraved

now, pics of progress made ??on the bow

it advances
cheers

Hi Nicolas,
"trs bon travail jusqu' prsent"
... the information about the hut is very helpfull, I'm sure I would have had made windows out of lacking knowledge about.
As told, in my storage lays also Richelieu to build, but I wait until yours is ready, because so much tricky areas and mistakes, better to observe you first.

Really beautiful work, Nicolas. Even straining my eyes I can't pick out any construction or painting missteps in your photos. I saw this kit while buying tape at my local hobby shop and was sorely tempted having seen your work here.
