1/200 Bismarck "Advanced Set Plus" will be released only plus parts.
But different from Bismarck at this time 35017F1 and 37017F1 will be released at the same time.
So 37017F1 "Advanced set" will include full parts of 35017F1
And of course "Advanced set plus" also will be released indepently as Bismrck.
So this "A/s Plus "+35017F1 will be same contents as 37017F1.

37017F1 "Advanced set" will be included Veteranmodel resin parts for 6 Quad Borfos(with Mk51) and 8 5in/25 singles and some additional PE parts.

Price Range,
35017F1 will be 100USD
37017F1 140USD
And "Advanced Set Plus" 50USD.

Thank you

So the three sets you just quoted in price are all for Indy and the Advanced set Plus items will NOT be included with the Advanced set 37017F1 right? Sorry for the additional question. I want to make sure I understand it so I know what I am ordering.:)

37017F1 = 35017F1 +"A/s Plus "

Dear SH Park,

Could you please clarify why the ladders on the photo don't touch the deck in the lower end? It considered to be normal?

I think I just wet myself.

Please make a longer midships deck an option for those of us trying a Portland conversion.

Dear Kim,

On the photo with test assembly there is no railings on the 1-st superstructure around 2-d main turret. Is it correct?

HarryER:

These two photos might answer your question:
1945 overhaul: http://www.navsource.org/archives/04/035/0403526.jpg
1944 overhaul: http://www.navsource.org/archives/04/035/0403520.jpg

Of course, there's the slight possibility that they were removed for only the duration of the overhaul, but given that they're absent both times and that the other railings are still there, I think it's safe to say there're no 2- or 3-bar rails in that area.

If there are 3 or 2 rows railings, Big tail of No.2 Turret will bust rails.
Our PE set include 1-row rails.

Dear Kim,

Sorry for bothering, but those masks are self-adhesive & aimed to protect the pre-painted wooden deck after it is installed on the ship? Am I correct?

Regards,
HarryER

P.S. I've already pre-ordered the Advanced set through local dealer

It is not relevant to wooden deck.
Another decks is Steel deck. So I think need stencil PE for non-slip pattern.
These are just non-slip patten Painting mask for steel deck.

Image
First you should paint 20-B deck blue on deck PE.

Result is hear

Thanks a lot for such detailed clarification. This is a really great help for greater realism of the model.

Hi Kim,

Indianapolis is not my area of interest, or at least it wasn't until I saw this update set... I am blown away with the products you guys at Pontosmodel are making!

I dont think there has ever been a better time for ship modelling and, with the new releases from the new major manufacturers and the incredible work from those associated with accessory market, there is something for everyone to enjoy and the potential for producing seriously great models is now within the grasp of more and more modellers... which in turn will hopefully inspire a new generation of modellers to take up their scalpel and airbrush and involve themselves in something rewarding, creative and to learn something of our history too.

You guys have raised the bar on model update sets kits to beyond anything we would have thought likely even a year or two ago and at every release I see a higher and higher standard.

Amazing products... Truly amazing and worth absolutely every penny. I hope you all realise just how appreciative we are of people like you, willing to put in the work to help the rest of us model to an even higher standard and with even more pleasure.

Stunning work... you really should take a bow... :-)

I'm in the process of building my 350 Academy HMS Warspite with your full upgrade set, but with a new business, a very recent marriage (May 14), an impending house move and the hot weather, actual time building is somewhat reduced... (However, I'm currently, when I get a moment, scratchbuilding the shields around the 4" Mk XIX mountings, one of the areas in the kit that needs upgrading and which you unfortunately missed in what is otherwise a stunning update set).

Thank you Bill for your compliment on our sets.
And we are happy to see more and more modelers are enjoying our sets.
Foe every project, we've tried to apply new idea on new project and mostly and fortunately we have been satisfied with the result. I don't know what wecan do at next project but as always we've just tried to do our best within limited time and based on supplied information.

Hope to meet again at Telford.

Thank you
