How many of us make cable reels.
Just a quick little solution many of us use for making cable reels.

Neat idea!!! It never dawned on me to make a whole roll of them and then just "cut to fit"

It just seems to make sense hey? I kind of figured I wasn't the first! Your England looks great BTW....great job with the dazzle camouflage.

works very well for 1/700 too!

I used the same method last year. Also for thick hose, you can wrap the core with solder wire:

What are your favorite colors to paint the copper wire? Mine are black and Floquil Concrete.

What a simple idea! It is amazing how the simplest things do not come to mind, until you are shown!
Thanks for that, I will have plenty of uses for that. Might even try wrapping fishing line round and see how that goes - it should produce very fine 'hose/cables' ideal for 1/700.
