At the present time plans for Soobraziltelnyy are only available with the Fleetscale hull .

Re: STEREGUSHCHIY Project 20380 at 1:72 scale
Well its about time for a new update. Since last times update I had to rebuild the inside of my ship due to the ship being top heavy. Warning people be careful of this.
I made the shield using 0.3 with the pattern being made of fine strips glued on top. Then the whole piece glued on the inside wall.
I then went over the complete superstructure and filed off excess plastic and filled where needed.
Now time to bite the bullet and build the radar above the bridge. Well after a restart I started again and after a few hours of swearing I made something that resembles what I see in pictures.
For those people thinking why Im slow with this build Im also working on my Frunze and Admiral Kuznetsov. Yeah I spread myself thin but it doesnt get boring at least. At least I now have a deck on Frunze and the ship is under RC control and hope sometime in the next few weeks to give it a run. As for the Admiral Kuznetsov , well its finally getting some attention and should see an update hmmm sometime this year.

How's yours coming along? Do we have a start date yet?
Also any others out there building this type of craft? How are they going?

Re: STEREGUSHCHIY Project 20380 at 1:72 scale
Hi Mick good to hear from you . As far as I am aware there is no other builds of the Steregushchiy class in progress in the UK . I've been sorting out the PE especially the WT doors which are a departure from the previous Soviet era type . Also the RIB and Power boat for Soobraziltelnyy are different to those on Steregushchiy . Looks like there is going to be a number of the class appearing at events in OZ and I look forward to seeing the models on the water. As mentioned my delay in starting has been the 3 year build of HMS Daring and having plenty of detailed on board shots encouraging greater attention to detail but in reality I'm a slow builder .

Dave if your a slow builder I don't want to know what I am then!!!
It's been 8 years since I have made a new boat that comes close to touching water. Plenty under construction but none touching water.

Wow, some pretty awesome work there Mick. All those angles aren't as easy as they look! That mast is a real piece of art. Also the aft mast (if you can call it that) came out pretty sweet!
You're still advancing rather rapidly. Good luck with the Kashtan.

Since this thread has been officially highjacked, I'll post a cross post from the "Calling All ship fans" part of the board:

Ok, since there is some construction ongoing on Stereguchiy class ships, these links will definately prove useful. Found this site a while back for my own research (not Stere class though). But it's handyfor all kinds of modelling or Russian and non-Russian models. Lots of walk arounds and pictures really taken with the viewpoint of a modeller!

Hello Mick,
Would you mind sharing larger size pictures of your Stereguschy project on your Google+ account ?
They would be a big help for me building the deck structures.
I am building her in 1:50, and have just put her in the water for the first time
Thanks,
Jos

Wow scale 1/50 now that's talking a nice size ship. As for larger pictures I am limited to 200kb size images but if there is an image you like email me a private message and I shall be glad to send it direct to you. More images to follow very soon.

Re: STEREGUSHCHIY Project 20380 at 1:72 scale
I asked this question some time ago. Does anyone have a clear pic or description of the Ship Crest for the 20380 project ships esp. BOIKY and STOIKY. I have this crest for Gremyashchy - admittedly a Project 20385 ship and she is not even commissioned yet!
