I am working on the Orange Hobbies 1/700 scale NEWPORT CLASS LST, I have found that the "de-mold chemical" has left a residue on the kit and my normal practice of washing with warm soapy water is not removing it. My CA glue just seemed to slide around as if it was an oily surface.
My question is what is something else I can try to remove this oily film from the kit? I don't want to use anything to harsh that will damage the kit, and my previous practice of washing resin kits with warm soapy water is just not enough for this particular kits de-mold solution.
Any advise would be helpful and thanks for any and all help with this puzzling problem.

I regularly use straight acetone and a toothbrush on the mail hull and superstructure parts for tough release agents.
