Hey there! This is really beautiful, I really hope that I can make something like this one day... I'm an amateur at all this, but I'm currently trying my hand at a 1/700 atago.

Question - where did you get the ventilators? I see that they're PE parts, but what about the boxes?? where did you get those?

Continue working after 2 months holidays/seas and hard work.

Install photoetched North Star Models anchor chain with chain stoppers and Rainbow fixing rings
Wash and install anchors
Start adding railings and over deck and board details

I'm amateur too, I just studying
I get 2 sets of Flyhawk Ventilators - 700161 and 700162

And I don't use third Flyhawk set - 700160. Because it is similar to set 700161.
At real cuiser there were 10 different types of ventilators.

So, I recommend to buy this resin set from Shelf Oddity for Japan heavy cruisers

This set contains more than 10 types of ventilators.

It will be hard after so long holydays :surfer:
Yesterday, I installed all railings and platforms at nose half of cruiser

I want to complete the cruiser (with out seaplanes and sailors/officers) at the end of October to visit it's first Shipmodel show at Novorossiysk (Tsemes Bay Cup) in November 2017.
