Looking good mate! You running the little Buhlers in her?? What run time you getting from the lipo??
I tried running CGN9 once without her 2 center ballast wts 6.5kg each! (left em home by mistake!!) She sat about 10mm Above bottom of Boot topping and was EXTREMELY unstable... I pulled her out straight away.....have never forgotten those wts again!!
Cheers Bruce

You should have learned that when I ran my Stergy at Hubertus David. She needed ballast from the first run. I'll be there again early May for a run with my Stergy if you plan to go bring yours. I hope to be able to give her a new paint work before I go.

Wasn't at Hubertus when you ran first time. No, she wont run again until she is finished. I had no doubt about the need for ballast but didn't put any in - duhh. Now she is equipped to run with LIPO or Gel Cell batteries to drive her Buehllers. Our main purpose for running was to see how much top-weight she was carrying and where she set in the water. Am now confident that she will not be too top heavy and that we have some reserve when we reach the waterline shown on the plans.

Hi Bruce. The run was merely for stability / weight checks so don't have run time on the LIPO. Long way to go to have her complete and running for a long time.

Sorry mate, switched work to the Frunze for the last few months and soon the Kuznetsov will get some work done. Then we shall see. I believe the guys in Canberra have almost finished their projects but no picture see either.
Do you have any information regarding the Gremyashchy corvette Project 22385, specifically the deck painting scheme as well as the existence (or not) of a 2nd mast on top of the hangar, similar to the one on the Steregushchy corvette Project 20380?
I'm back apologies for being AWOL for a few years now . Any way some of you may remember long ago that it was my aim to build the Steregushchiy or one the sister ships. Well my present commitment is fast drawing to a close and the Soobraziltelnyy beckons . For those that may have an interest in this project or just the methods of build then please keep looing in.
Nice to be back

Yeah Dave, Glad to see you back on track so to speak. I've been jumping around with my model builds. This gives me incentive to get back onto this project soon.
Look forward to catching up with your build and who knows I might finish a model......

Hello everybody!
Dave, I found your topic on the Guardian, M1 / 100. Mick also entered it with the M1 / 72.
How are you doing with completing the model?
I also started Ave. 20380 in M1 / 72. I collect material, but I don't have any good drawings.
I want to contact You, maybe you can help with the drawings...
Please do not consider me an "Amateur".I have just finished the model of the rescue boat "METEL", 1458. M1/25 Ave. I had this topic on Balancer. Corvette PR. 20380 really liked me.
