A: I think there are some more detail parts than 1/200.
B: I also hope to meet as soon as possible. We've overworked already. After visiting the Shizuoka Hobby shows at mid of May, we will rearrange our schedule of new sets.

There are more than 30 people tell me that they will wait for your Advanced set in a forum after I shows your basic set. They are all satisfied after saw those picture. And also they are expect to see more adding detail very strongly. So, please consider to add more and more details in the Advanced set. I have showed this pictures in only one forum, and there are so so so many model hibby forums in china. Then you can know how big is that market for you.
Yep Luckymodel is our distributor for China, Hongkong and Taiwan market, so hope many Chinese friends can meet our sets.

Kim,

Is it possible to order this set direct from Pontos?

I have checked your website and there is no shopping/cart/checkout/payment option there.

If it is possible, please can you advise how we can do this?

Thanks

All our stocked are sold out to dealers.

Thanks Kim,

I have dropped WEM an email. The kit isn't showing on their website as yet so I am not sure if they are planning to stock it, hopefully they will be!

To be honest I can wait until the mad rush subsides, as I am working on a hachette bismarck at the moment (being converted to a Tirpitz) and my Trumpeter bismarck is on a shelf for the next few months.

I guess you are going to be busy for a while with this one.

Keep up the good work.

Fantastic set, but can I ask does it include the Brass Pedestals that are shown in some of the pictures? They are not mentioned in the parts list or the instruction sheets which are now available to download.

Our Pedestal set (two bases) is 30USD.
So we could not add this at ths bismarck set because it raise the total set 30USD more.

You can order pedestal set from our dealers (though mainly out of stock)

Can you please advise me WHERE and WHEN I can buy your 1/200 Bismarck Set in the United Kingdom please??

For what it's worth, before stumbling on this thread I didn't have a clue who Pontos were as I mostly bought Lionroar, Eduard and GMM photo etch.

However seeing your efforts on this kit and looking at your other products now I will be looking at your products before checking anything else.

Very Very well done on the 1/200 Bismarck set, what you have achieved here is nothing short of magnificant so please don't keep us all in suspense waiting for the advanced set. Keep this thread going and get the Bismarck Pontos project completely finished :thumbs_up_1:

And when you get time to draw breath, I would like to repeat a request made by another contributor to this thread who called for a 1/200 Nichimo Yamato set and I would also be interested in a Pontos set for the 1/350 Trumpeter HMS Hood.

Both massively popular subjects and surely a target for you guys.

Best Regards

Pete
You can order from us if you would like. http://www.freetimehobbies.com/1-200-po ... super-set/
Brandon

I have decided to order my Pontos 1/200 Bismarck Kit through FTH, as you appear to have the first dibbs (as we say in the UK) on the supply of this set from Pontos.

Anyway I'm sure my order is a fair way down the pile but I look forward to recieving the set in due course.

All the best

Hi Kim,

How many sets have you managed to make in this first release?

And when are you planning to start your advanced set?

Clearly when building the Bismarck and adding your 'Basic' set modellers will not want a long delay waiting for the 'Advanced' set. The main kit parts are constructed sequentially as a series of sub-assemblies and therefore it might not be possible to revisit certain areas of the sub-assemblies to add elements of the 'advanced' set at a later date particularly where parts of the basic set may have obscured parts of the original plastic trumpeter kit which are to be replaced by your advanced set.

Something to think about there.

Also I can't seem to find any of your $30 brass pedestal sets anywhere in your established dealer network :( Can you advise where we can currently obtain these?

Cheers

Just checked their site and they don't seem to be there any more. Nothing under 'Pontos' or 'Pedestals' and the Display Stand Section is showing 'no products available'.

Good video Brandon, many thanks. I even liked the cheesy grocery store music!

P.s, was that my Pontos set about to be re-boxed up for delivery?

Great work on all of this :thumbs_up_1:
