PE #336

Post by Pontosmodel »

One Customer asked us how bend #336 used on 20mm single.
So I made with 3D design for this part.
All additional instruction clips will be added on our webpage when some amount be collected.

Dave,
It is good news that more and more modelers have started to get this set.
I am sure you will also be more happy during your work again with finding and feeling unopen details and other factors.
Now we are concentrating two Indianapolis detail sets (for Academy and Trumpeter)
Just after this project we will finalize Advanced set.

Thank you
Kim

If you guys could post some pictures of every set you working on that would be the best news ever. I am enjoying watching every single Pontos picture. But I do understand that posting takes a lot of time. Anyway keep up a great job guys. You are simply the best.

Hi Kim,

I have a question:
Is the Advanced set an additional set for the Basic set
or includes the Advanced set the Basic set?

Best wishes

Hi Christian
I understand from previous posts that the advanced set is in addition to the basic set i.e. you would need to buy both sets if you wish for ultra detail and nothing would be duplicated.

Do you have a time frame on the 1.350 Bismarck/Tirpitz sets? i really thought that as these kits had been out so long they would have come before the 1.200 or at least been next?

Hi Kim
I cancelled my order of the MK1 set in favor of yours
I've ordered it from WEM in the UK ,my question is ,will the swastikas for the the aircraft be included on the decal sheet?
If not, will it be possible for you to supply them direct?

Hi Kim,

Did you manage to get the Catapult walkway and railing included as part of your basic set?

I have attached a picture of another 1/200 model showing the walkway which extends out with the catapult so that you can see the walkway I am trying to describe.

It's present on each side of the catapult and on both sides of the ship.

Many Thanks

Mr Kim, i would like to make a suggestion to you. As the PE takes a fair amount of time to produce, a lot of people have already built a lot of the kits you will be making for in the future. i can see a good market for you to release sets of mast's. i for one have a lot of ships built with other PE sets that you are doing in the future and i would love to add your brass masts. you might like to do a poll on the site to get some feedback.

Amiers,

I am sorry that 1/350 Bismarck has been delayed and delayed from last year.
Now we are also preparing 1/350 Bismarck/Tirpitz sets(for Revell) similar as 1/200 BIsmarck.
But this will be started just after LPD-21 , Indianapolis and Olive Hazard Perry when 1/200 Bismarck boom tends to be stable.

And as for the partial set marketing is not considered in near future.
But when all our dreams are finalized we will start for the accessory parts also.

Thank you
Kim

Hi Kim

I have just received my Bismarck set via Lucky Models Hong Kong - words almost fail - its superb. (as well as your packaging)

I was pleased with my Warspite, Prince of Wales and Yorktown but this latest set ............... well. To just say thank you and well done is just not enough.

My whole model planing is now arranged by your production schedule with my eyes even going over your modern Iowa class even though my interest is WW!! era.

Again a big big thank you for all your efforts and keep up the good work.

My model planning is also arranged by the Pontos release list.

That's why I have a Tamiya Enterprise sitting on my desk, nudge, nudge, wink, wink, cough, cough

THank you and Good Choice!
Well you can't follow up our schedule.
Just enjoy your modeling.

Enterprise will be our biggest project so we should prepare much before starting.

Hi Kim
Wonder if you can help.......... Have found parts 356 and 357 on instruction sheet and can understand how they assemble but what are they and where do they go?
Also what are parts 358 and where do they fit as cannot find anywhere on instruction sheets?.
Probably me just overwhelmed by number of parts but if you could guide me l would be grateful.

On deck plan - parts numbered 49 should be 50 and parts numbered 50 should be 51 surely - also small platforms projection from deck listed as 149 should be 112 ????

Thanks
Alan
