I certainly agree to that! Makes no sense at all and only takes 5 minutes to do!Why oh why are they still issuing instruction sheets on line for download and printed with the kits knowing that they are wrong?????

alang wrote:I agree with all the comments that Pontos sets are superb....... but what l cannot get my head around is the fact that several of us on here have actually rewritten the instruction sheets for them, correcting all the mistakes and going to the extent of adding many more part numbers and more guidance for the modeler, then sent copy to them for their use if they so desire but they totally ignore this act. So in effect by their lack of comments on this site they are in effect saying 'yes we know our instructions are wrong and lacking in details but will not act on this' - which contradicts what they keep saying about helping the modeler.

Sorry but that l just cannot understand.

I hope you got someone outside of your company to check the instructions, Kim. That way they will not be worried about telling you all of the mistakes that an employee may be too intimidated to provide.Pontosmodel wrote:Thank you Alang and all who have helped in for more perfect instruction.

I have available seven of the files as issued by Pontos but as corrected and updated instruction sheets and if anybody is interested just drop me a pm with your e-mail address but be warned they are large files. These files look exactly the same as the Pontos download ones but with all the corrections made (showing where they are corrected) and also with many more part numbers shown that were missing.
Regards to all
Can I second that please. What a wonderful gesture Alan, I downloaded the correction pages last night and I must say that the quality of them is first class. You have gone to a tremendous amount of trouble to churn these out and you have saved me and doubtless many others, a colossal amount of abortive time and head scratching. I am immensely grateful to you. Thank you very much indeed!Propuldude wrote:alang wrote:Re sticky thread for corrections...............there are so many corrections/omissions that it would put anybody off just by looking at the list that would have to be made.

I want to publicly thank Alan for taking the time to create the correction sheets and for selflessly sharing them with me and everyone else. Thanks very much....Dave
