O.K. I will do as you wish mainly.
As I might have mentioned, we would let original printed instruction manual remain without modified.
So Modelers would refer the correction manuals first or work prior to original.
We think this makes modelers be confused less.
But if you mainly wish we will uploaded fully modified manual for whole pages, I will start to to work for these soon. Just after finalizing 1/200 Missouri, there have some time for me so I would start to continue again the Advanced set, But one-two days make cut in for the modifying manual.

And the price of Basic set (23001F1 or 22001F1) will be raised from next year with releasing Advanced set.
I estimate the raising range as 40-50USD.Hope you can get these soon before this year.

And then I will start to edit the whole pages.

Thank you

Mr.Kim
At Last - sensible news............... but why waste time redoing the instructions when your original sheets with all corrections and many extras are already available from the link shown earlier in this thread (http://www.modelizmas.lt/files/Alans_23001f1.zip). Just download these and put them on your own site.
None of us want any payment for this - we have just been trying to help you and you many other customers all along.

Please don't waste time as you have many other jobs slipping behind already.

Yep your comments through this thread surely very helpful.
But I would look over the whole instruction manual again and note more easily modified area and numbers with noticeable different colors. And we would add some more depics or diagrams for more detaily if possible.
Though there may be no more printed correction manual, but we will try upload with more high resolution files.

Thank you again

Hallo :wave_1: :newbie:

first I have to say its an amazing PE set that you guys did. :thumbs_up_1: And it is a lot of fun putting the parts together.

During my build process I am run into a little Riddle:
missing ladder 1
missing ladder 1
than in noticed that these 2 ladders are not included, also the step ladders under these ladders are not part of this set.

here are original pictures:
original Photo 1
original Photo 1
same on the other side:
original Photo 2
original Photo 2
maybe these can be considered in the "Advanced Set", plus a nice little drill guide.

Hi
I used one of the other drill guides that was long enough- there are plenty spare steps. As for the two ladders - there are spares - just use what is left at the end of the build. Sorry never made a note of the numbers that l used.

I'm confused by the upcoming price raise of the Basic set.
I was under the impression the Basic set was going to be discontinued with the Advanced set, is this no longer the case?

Also, when exactly do you plan on raising the price? It sounds like the Advanced is coming very soon, early January?
I ask, because, no one seems to currently have the Basic set in stock. One place saying 3 weeks. There are a few on ebay, but they have ridiculous prices.
It sounds like, by the time anyone gets any more in stock the price will already be raised?

Originally, I was holding out for the Advanced. Now I'm confused if I should get the basic or still wait for the advanced. Normally, I don't exceed the cost of the model with PE/upgrades. With the pending price raise, it sounds like the advanced set might now exceed the model in price? (roughly $280)
Do you have an idea how much the Advanced will be? As well as the upgrading from basic to advanced?

This whole issue with Basic and Advanced Set plus the related pricing policy (?) and the ever changing release dates are extremely confusing. It would be very nice to know what the content of any "Advanced Set" might be at the time when a "Basic Set" is released. This would greatly improve the decision making process. It could very well be that some people would be very content with the "Basic Set". Now it seems that some were waiting for the "Advanced Set" with unknown content, they might not want it, and missed out on the (very good and in my opinion very sufficient) "Basis Set" Confusion reigns and it is the same with the "Missouri Set".

I will show some thing as soon what are added on the Advanced sets.
Now The price range can't be estimated now because some contents may make whole price change much.

And Basic set will be higher surely with releasing Advanced set (and Add-on set).
Or we may discontinue the Basic sets anymore with releasing Advanced set series..

So I surely recommend to get the Basic set before releasing Advanced set series to save costs.

Search by Brand at Lucky and then page 5 and then you can see.

Yep you can get Advanced set and these contents are not duplicating with Basic set.

And 1/350 Bismarck has just been started.

Hi Kim,

Will the 350 Pontos set for the Bismarck work for the Tamiya kit? I have a kit in my collection I have had for around 10 years which is mint and unopened...

One of those things I didn't think I would ever get round to... particularly since the new kits appear to be so much better... but your upgrade set could give me the incentive needed...

I doubt I am alone in this either!

Hi, I'm about to commence work on the deck of the Bismarck. Is there anything I should be aware of? If I remember correctly Mr Kim told me that I should spray the deck with water before applying the timber deck so as to allow for some slippage. Is this correct?

Thanks

Hi
Re Deck. I have found that if you use a large brush and 'paint' the back of the wood deck with water first it works wonderful. When you first touch the wood with the brush it tries to grab but keep the brush moving and within a few seconds you will find that you can really sweep the brush up and down. When you put the deck down it looks soaked but within a few minutes it will begin to dry and you can just use kitchen paper to mop up any water that squeezes out. I have never found bubbles with Pontos decks.

Hope its of help.
