Thanks Alang, I tried applying water on a small piece of scrap, but didn't see any advantage. In any case I've applied all of the decking without too much trouble. Thanks for your help. Next task is painting the swastikas onto the deck.

Yep. but all the schedules were complexed and mixed with Trumpeter's new 1/200 lines.
So I would not promise any more detailly. But I can tell you now we are designing 1/350 Kongo class, and 1/350 Bismarck surely.

David,
With watering, it seems similar as without, but you can relocate for fitting with deattaching again more easily.
Even with water you should be care for the finger oils. though finger oils might seems no effect on the attachment strength. But with times, this area can be bubbled at later. So please be care not to touch the addhesive side with finger directly. But after watering this fingeroil negative effect can be quitely reduced.

Good Luck for your work.

Thank you
Keumho Kim

Dear all
I've been reading quite a time, with growing interest as Bismarck and sets are gathered together over the year - now it's the time to start...precede...
Many, many thanks to Alang for his extraordinary work!
There is only one question open to me - is ist necessary to sand down the deck before fixing the wooden deck ?

No need to sand deck down.
I just whetted the back of the wood deck, positioned and pushed down into place.
Very happy to say that now some six months on nothing has lifted.

Enjoy your build and best wishes to all for Christmas and the new year.

Peter,
Yep as Alang said you need not sand out the surface of injection deck.
But as described on the manual page 1, you should remove the purple colored parts or area before applying Wood deck.
And you should be careful fingers not to touch the addhesive side before watering.
After watering, it is no problem with finger oils.

Thank you
Kim

Basiclly we do at the same time for sister ships. Or at least we consider Sister ship in designing.
But released date may have some terms.

Kim,

Any update on the "Advanced" Bismarck set please?

Not starting my build until I have BOTH sets as that would be pointless so come on you said we would see it before now but you seem to be on with other things.

Can we get back on track please and finish this Bismarck project.

Thanks

Advanced set is undergoing..

855 adn 856 is located in #11 PE a small PE fret.

And I am trying to reply all the emails to come as soon.
If you have not received just email again with title just "To Kim" not to come to Spam box.

And I've updated Bimarck set detail page and instruction PDF pages with help of Alan.
