The Bismark's hull had no illuminators (portholes) in armored plates! The armored plates were located greatly below!
Please, look at the attached photo. It shows approx. Spt 25. There you can see the position of the armor plates (they are riveted) and rain rails (coamings) above the portholes.

Bow:
These areas include the shell plating of the hull above the bow armour (60 mm) and reaches up to the 50 mm upper deck armour. Its reaches forward as far as the 50 mm upper deck armour exists and it goes back to the citadel armour. This was made of 35 mm WhnA and towards the stem of 20 mm.
Stern:
These areas include the shell plating of the hull above the stern armour (80 mm) and reaches up to the 50 mm upper deck armour. Its reaches backwards frame 10.5 and it goes forward to the citadel armour. This was made of 35 mm WhnA.
